Every three years, the small-angle scattering community showcases recent advances and documents the wide-ranging impact of the technique on existing and emerging scientific fields through the international small-angle conference series.

SAS2027 returns this series to Europe (Sweden) after SAS2024 in Taiwan. The scientific programme includes sessions in the following themes:

  Cellulose, bio-derived and bio-based materials, magnetic materials, energy materials, quantum materials, catalysts and porous materials.

• Hard Matter
  Magnetic materials, material microstructures, metal and oxide nanomaterials.

• Soft Matter
  Gels and complex fluids, self-assembled systems, liquid crystals, and polymers.

• Biology
  Membrane proteins, protein and nucleic acid complexes, membrane mimics, delivery vehicles, solution protein structures, biocoacervates, and antibodies.
